This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Content Policy.

1. General Principles

Savantly is designed to help professionals and businesses build their digital presence. When using our services, you must:

  • Use the service lawfully and responsibly
  • Respect the rights of other users
  • Not interfere with the normal operation of the service

  • Engage in hate speech or discrimination
  • Bully or target individuals or groups
  • Share private information about others without consent (doxxing)
  • Coordinate harassment campaigns

2.3 Spam and Misuse

You may not:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages or emails
  • Post repetitive or irrelevant content
  • Use automated systems to create accounts or post content
  • Scrape data without authorization
  • Artificially inflate metrics (fake followers, reviews, engagement)
  • Engage in link farming or SEO manipulation

2.4 Account Abuse

You may not:

  • Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
  • Share or sell your account credentials
  • Impersonate other individuals, businesses, or brands
  • Use false or misleading profile information
  • Create accounts using automated methods
  • Access another user's account without authorization

2.5 Technical Abuse

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities
  • Breach security or authentication measures
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
  • Use any automated system to access the service (except where authorized)

2.6 Content Violations

You may not post content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or violates our Content Policy
  • Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
  • Contains malicious code or links to malware
  • Is sexually explicit or pornographic
  • Exploits or harms children
  • Contains graphic violence or gore
  • Promotes dangerous or illegal products or services

2.7 Business Misconduct

If you operate a business on Savantly, you may not:

  • Make false or misleading claims about products or services
  • Engage in deceptive pricing or billing practices
  • Sell counterfeit or unauthorized goods
  • Fail to deliver promised products or services
  • Violate consumer protection laws
  • Engage in pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing scams
  • Operate without required licenses or permits

2.8 API and Integration Abuse

If you use our APIs or integrations, you may not:

  • Exceed rate limits or usage quotas
  • Cache data beyond permitted timeframes
  • Use APIs to circumvent UI restrictions
  • Resell or redistribute API access
  • Use APIs for competitive purposes

3. Specific Use Cases

3.1 Web Scraping Features

When using our web scraping features, you must:

  • Only scrape websites where you have legal authorization
  • Respect robots.txt and terms of service of target sites
  • Not use scraping to collect data for competitive purposes
  • Not scrape at rates that could harm target websites
  • Not scrape personal information without proper legal basis
  • Not use scraped data in ways that violate applicable laws

3.2 AI-Generated Content

When using AI features, you must:

  • Review and verify AI-generated content for accuracy
  • Not use AI to generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content
  • Take responsibility for all AI-generated content you publish
  • Not attempt to manipulate or abuse AI systems
  • Comply with usage limits and fair use guidelines

3.3 Data Collection and Privacy

You must:

  • Comply with all applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Obtain necessary consents before collecting personal data
  • Not collect sensitive personal information without proper safeguards
  • Provide clear privacy notices to users
  • Honor data subject rights (access, deletion, etc.)

4. Enforcement

4.1 Violation Detection

We may detect violations through:

  • Automated monitoring systems
  • User reports and complaints
  • Manual review and investigation
  • Third-party notifications
  • Law enforcement referrals

4.2 Consequences

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations
  • Content Removal: Removal of violating content
  • Feature Restriction: Temporary or permanent loss of specific features
  • Temporary Suspension: Account suspended for 7-90 days
  • Permanent Ban: Account permanently terminated
  • Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement or civil litigation

Severity of enforcement action depends on the nature and frequency of violations. Severe violations may result in immediate termination without prior warning.

4.3 No Refunds

No refunds will be provided for accounts suspended or terminated due to AUP violations.
